President’s Biography
Dr. Joseph 霍普金斯
President, Campbellsville University
Dr. Joseph 霍普金斯 was named President of Campbellsville University in February of 2022. Previously, he served as dean of the Samford University (AL) School of the Arts, dean of the Petrie School of 音乐 at Converse College (SC), and chair of the Department of 音乐 at the University of Evansville (IN). He founded the Harlaxton International Chamber 音乐 Festival, served on the faculty of the Operafestival di Roma (Rome, 意大利), and has performed and recorded around the world in opera, concert, and church settings. He served as the worship pastor at First Baptist Church of Birmingham, AL and in churches in Kentucky, Indiana, Georgia, South Carolina, 德州, and Alabama. His wife Suzanne is his favorite singer; he is the proud father of two young men, Joseph and Vance; and he is managed by a handsome Scottie named Winston.
